MOULTRIE — Moultrie Technical College Computer Information Systems Technology program students Tony Martinez, left, and Tyler Brooks, right, have ranked among the top test takers in the nation for computer support and networking certifications recently. Both tested at the beginning of the college’s fall semester to certify as PC technicians with TestOut Corporation. Brooks scored in the top 18 percent in the nation while Martinez earned a perfect score of 1500 on the test, placing him in the top 1 percent. These scores are compared to more than 70,000 others who have tested to be certified in the last year. The average national test score is 924. Moultrie Tech students have averaged a score of 1331. The test has a national pass rate of only 38.7 percent.

Institutional SAT May 29 at ABAC
Students who plan to enroll in baccalaureate or pre-baccalaureate degree programs at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College can take the Institutional Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) on May 29 on the campus instead of waiting for the national testing dates.
