MOULTRIE —
The Moultrie Technical College Foundation, Inc. recently awarded 20 students from MTC campuses in Colquitt and Tift counties with scholarships to help cover their Spring Semester 2013 class expenses. Scholarships are provided through the college’s internal fundraising campaign in which MTC faculty and staff members donate a portion of their monthly salaries to help students and to meet other pressing needs of the college not covered through state-allocated funds. MTC President Tina Anderson, left, and MTC Foundation Director Darbie Avera, right, joined the Moultrie campus recipients for a photo. From left are Anderson, Pamela Vernor, Alanna Tillery, Sheri Hill, Tommy Neloms, Brandi Rentz, Marcus McDonald, Crystal Williams, Nicholas Brooks, Chasity Gaines, Tony Martinez, Amber Ayala, Willie Pace and Avera. Other recipients include Linda Adams, Courtnee Clark, Brenda Denson, Natley Harris, Sonya Roney, Wylinda Smith, Nathan Wilburn and Donna Young.
