Hamilton students visit Moultrie fire station

MOULTRIE — The Hamilton Elementary School prekindergarten students recently visited Moultrie Fire Department. The students were given a tour of the fire department and of a fire truck. They enjoyed a demonstration of a firefighter climbing the ladder on the truck and the firefighters sliding down the pole. The students were given a ‘friendly firefighter’ demonstration where they were able to see a firefighter fully dressed in turn-out gear. Pictured with the students are fire Lt. Chad Kilgore, back left, and engineer Bo Sprunger, back right.
