MOULTRIE — At least two events Friday recognized the contributions of local men and women in defense of the United States. A wreath-laying ceremony on the courthouse square was attended by many people, and Hamilton Elementary School held its 10th annual Veterans Day program to honor veterans that the students and faculty knew in the community.
