Margaret T. Williams

TAMPA, FLA. — Margaret T. Williams, 78, died Saturday, March 11, 2006 in Tampa, Fla.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Wednesday, March 15 at Temple Baptist Church with the Rev. Terry Webb officiating. Burial will follow at Pinecrest Memory Gardens.

Born April 24, 1927 in Colquitt County, she was retired from the Georgia Department of Labor.

She was preceded in death by a son, James M. Williams III and a brother, Carroll Murphy.

Survivors include sons, James M. Williams of Atlanta, Jerry Paul Williams of Moultrie and Jeffrey Carroll Williams of Inverness, Fla.; daughter, Janet Elizabeth Williams of Inverness, Fla. and grandchildren, Bayly Miley, Ashley Williams and Victoria Williams.

Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. at Harrell-Faircloth Funeral Home.

Harrell-Faircloth Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Walt “W.T.” Knox

MOULTRIE — Walt “W.T.” Knox, 86, died Sunday, March 12, 2006 at his residence.

Funeral services will be 4 p.m., Wednesday, March 15 at Cobb Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Stanley Norman officiating. Burial will follow at Cobb Suncrest Memorial Gardens with Mike Coley, Robert Taylor, Donald Simmons, Ken Snipes, Art Harvin and Don Gay serving as pallbearers.

Born June 28, 1919 in Murray County, he was the son of the late Nellie Mae Carroll Knox and the late John Elbert Knox. He was a farmer during his life.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Carrie Belle Shirah Knox.

Survivors include his sons, Steve Wayne Knox of Moultrie, W.T. Knox Jr. of Moultrie and Bobby Knox and wife Reather of Moultrie; daughters, Betty Faye Coley and husband Gary of Panama City Beach, Fla., Jeanette Rowe of Tifton and Linda Dale Taylor and husband Robert K. of Albany; sister, Ruby Simmons of Thomasville; eight grandchildren, Mike Coley, Pamela Horne, Kimberly Gay, Sandy Naylor, Schrea Taylor, Mary Anne Knox, Rhett Knox and Barry Knox; and eight great-grandchildren.
