Notice to our newspaper readers

MOULTRIE — The Moultrie Observer has learned that someone fraudulently posing himself as an agent for this newspaper has been attempting to sell subscriptions in Moultrie and Colquitt County.

Please be aware that The Observer does have contractors who sell subscriptions but the “tall white man” described to us in these incidents is a fraud.

If someone seeks to sell you a subscription to The Moultrie Observer, please ask for positive identification. Then we suggest that you call The Observer (985-4545) so that our circulation department can verify that this person is a legitimate contractor. Anyone who is our contractor will not mind you doing this. In fact, they will appreciate it. And so will the management of The Moultrie Observer.

Yours truly,

Dwain Walden,

editor/publisher,

The Moultrie Observer
