MOULTRIE — Georgia Commissioner of Agriculture Gary Black recently spoke at the 34th annual Hog Eye city Christmas Luncheon on Dec. 21. From left are Chip Blalock, Black, Joe Clark and Beth Meeks. The event recognized longtime state Sen. John Bulloch for his years of strong and steadfast service to the 11th district, and it honored the memory of Colquitt County Commissioner Billy Herndon and Coach Tom White, who both died in 2012. The Hog Eye City Merchants’ mission is two-fold: To assist the Colquitt County livestock shows in the sale of FFA and 4-H animals, and to hold the annual Christmas Luncheon to celebrate each year’s blessings.
